The Board of Governors of Northern Caribbean University (NCU) has announced the appointment of Balvin B. Braham, Ed.D., as the institution’s next president, effective Sept. 1, 2026.
Braham brings more than three decades of leadership in higher education, organizational management and faith-based administration. An experienced executive, educator, pastor and author, he has built a distinguished record in strategic leadership, institutional development, governance, fundraising and executive leadership development throughout the Seventh-day Adventist Church across the Inter-American Division (IAD) and beyond.
An alumnus of NCU, Braham earned a Doctor of Education in organizational leadership from Argosy University, a Master of Arts in religion from Andrews University (AU), and both a Bachelor of Arts in theology and a Diploma in Education from NCU.
