Creation Care cohousing on Lake Chapin — rooms

Harmony 2 is a Creation Care cohousing household opening this fall in a lakefront home at 4047 Lake Chapin Road, seven miles from campus. Five to eight residents will share one house and one kitchen, keeping a common life shaped by stewardship: a shared chore rota, composting and recycling, watchful use of energy and water, care of the grounds and shoreline, and Sabbath rest by the water. Residents run their common life together at a brief weekly household meeting.
There are five furnished rooms — two singles and three two-person rooms, two of them well suited to married couples. Rent is $550–$700 per person per month and includes all utilities and Wi-Fi. Residents may take the full twelve months or a single semester: fall, winter, or summer. The home is substance-free, consistent with University community standards.
