The Lifestyle Medicine Clinic and Training Center at Andrews University is thrilled to provide evidenced-based lifestyle interventions. Lifestyle Medicine uses therapeutic lifestyle interventions as a primary modality to treat, prevent and often reverse chronic conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and obesity applying the seven pillars of lifestyle medicine-a whole-food plant-predominant eating pattern, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, positive social connections and trust in God.

Evidence supports the use of a whole food, plant-predominant diet to prevent, treat and reverse chronic diseases. The American College of Lifestyle Medicine has helpful resources to jumpstart your healthy eating patterns.
