Biography

Michelle received a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology in 1993, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy  in 1994 and a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2020 from Andrews University.  In 2009, she passed the Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) exam awarded from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy with distinction, and in 2013 became an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Certified Clinical Instructor.  Michelle also passed the Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist (COMT) exam awarded from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy with distinction, in 2017.  She is a member of the APTA and the Orthopedic and Education sections. Michelle has worked as a Physical Therapist in many clinical settings most recently in a hospital-based outpatient orthopedic clinic. Currently, she is serving as Behavioral Sciences Coordinator in the Andrews University Physical Therapy program.
