Biography

Dr. Coolman completed her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in 2006. She passed the Certified Manual Therapist (CMPT) exam awarded from the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 2005 with distinction and Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) exam awarded by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2008. She also passed the Certified Manual/Manipulative Therapist (COMT) exam awarded from the North American Institute of Manual Physical Therapy in 2008, with distinction. Dr. Coolman became a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapist (FAAOMPT) in 2010. She served as the the Director of the Post-Professional Physical Therapy Program at Andrews University from 2016-2018.  In 2019 she became the NAIOMT Fellowship Director yet continues to teach NAIOMT courses as an adjunct professor for the Postprofessional Program and is the DScPT/NAIOMT Fellowship advisor for students pursing both the degree and fellowship simultaneously.
