Biography

Mi Young (Jean) Lee, PT, DPT, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Neurology Coordinator in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at Andrews University. She became full-time faculty in May 2025 after working as a faculty member in the Department of Physical Therapy at Sahmyook University in South Korea. Prior to that, Jean worked as a rehabilitation therapist at a specialty hospital where she treated patients with various neurological dysfunction. Jean received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2004 from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007 from Andrews University, and a PhD from Hallym University in South Korea. Aside from neurology, she has taught several other courses in the Department of Physical Therapy of Sahmyook University for over 10 years. She is also a certified wound specialist through the American Board of Wound Management.
