Faculty seeking advancement in rank and/or for tenure will complete a self-appraisal that includes an evaluation of Teaching, Scholarship, and Service. For professional/clinical faculty, the Professional/Clinical evaluation will replace either the evaluation of Scholarship or Service. Evaluation rubrics for Teaching, Scholarship, Service, Professional/Clinical and Tenure are included as separate documents below. Please refer to these documents as you prepare your application for promotion/tenure. The department/school chair's appraisal of applicant form is also included below.
These updated forms reflect the new criteria that will be used to assess all applicants beginning in the 2026-27 academic year.
