Research Symposium
Delight or Distraction: Sabbath-Keeping Motivations and Subjective Well-Being

Dr. Karl Bailey, Director of Behavioral Neuroscience, will be the speaker.

Sabbath-keeping as a Christian practice is a way of marking the passage of time and acknowledge God’s sovereignty. We will examine whether motivational differences in Sabbath-keeping experiences are related to subjective well-being and discuss the relationship between internalization of religion and behavioral and health outcomes.
