Spend Your Summer with Andrews University!

The Explore Andrews Program would like to extend an invitation for you to join us this summer for an exciting pre-college program. The Early College Experience offers current and recently graduated high school students a one of kind summer program on our main campus in Berrien Springs, MI. Students will participate in one college course, enjoy value-added seminars and cultural tours as part of a comprehensive University package.

Dates

The 2020 Early College Experience will take place from July 26 through August 14. Students are expected to arrive and move in on Sunday to be best prepared for classes on Monday morning.

Trips and Activities

Students can participate in a wide variety of cultural and educational activities as well as fun and relaxation. During the 3 week program, the students will take trips to local musuems and attractions in Chicago and South Bend. We'll have fun on campus, in town and at the beach. Students will have plenty of free time as well to explore on their own and make new friendships.

Admissions

Participants in the Early College Experience should be new incoming freshman who have recently graduated high school or students beginning their junior or senior year in high school. All applicants must fill out and submit the online application plus submit a high school transcript and standardized test scores.

    Minimum GPA: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
    A college prep curriculum that Includes Math, English, History and Science with Labs
    ACT, SAT or PSAT Scores
    ACT Composite of 23 with all individual scores 20 or higher
    SAT composite of 1100 (Math & Verbal) individual scores of 500
    PSAT composite of 1140 (Math & Verbal) individual scores of 530


Any student who does not meet these requirements may still be admitted at the discretion of the program director and course instructor.

Application

Students can apply for the Early College Experience online following the instructions below. In addition to the application you will need to submit a copy of your high school transcript and the relevant standardized test scores.

Visit the online application right Here or by visiting www.andrews.edu/apply. Choose the undergraduate application and be sure to apply as a guest student. In addition, make sure you choose the summer term and click yes for Early College. The rest of the application is simple and should only take a few minutes to complete.

After we receive the application and additional documents, we will review your information and you will receive a decision letter. If you are admitted to the program, you will receive an acceptance letter with instructions on your next steps and payment information. Please remember, acceptance to the Early College Program is not an admission to Andrews University as a fulltime student.
