Key Issues in Biblical Eschatology: Textual, Historical, and Theological Analysis.
Key Issues in Biblical Eschatology is a scholarly research project examining the most contested and consequential eschatological themes across the Old and New Testaments. The research situates canonical eschatology within its historical, literary, and theological contexts, integrating close textual analysis (Hebrew Bible and New Testament), Second Temple literature, and reception history—from early Judaism and the patristic era through Reformation and contemporary scholarship. Addressing topics such as resurrection, judgment, the Day of the Lord, messianic hope, divine kingship, new creation, apocalyptic symbolism, and the ethical implications of eschatological expectation, the project aims to clarify interpretive frameworks and offer constructive synthesis for academic and ecclesial audiences.
