Roderick B. Pernites will present at the 7th annual Robert & Lillis Kingman Lecture series on Science & Society at 7:00 pm at Newbold Auditorium on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, on the topic, Intelligent Designs: Engineering Materials for Real-World Applications. Dr. Roderick Pernites received his education across three countries, the United States, Singapore, and the Philippines, providing him with a global perspective and extensive experience collaborating with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. He earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with a minor in Chemical Biology, from the University of Houston-Texas.
Refreshments will be served from 6:00 pm.
