Dean Burrill graduated from Andrews University with a BS in elementary education and language arts, an MA in educational psychology and an MBA.
Dean Burrill grew up as a pastor's daughter, moving frequently, and spending most of her growing up years in Florida. Upon graduation from Andrews University, she taught grades 5–8 for five years in both Ohio and Indiana. In 2001, Dean Burrill came to Andrews University to serve as assistant dean. In 2004, she accepted her current position as dean of Lamson Hall. After 13 years of deaning, Dean Burrill took on the additional role of director of Residence Life in 2014. She has a son, Timothy, whom she adopted in May 2014. She enjoys the beach, classic television shows, reading and taking walks with her son, Timothy, and dog, Ricky.
