Adobe Creative Cloud @ Andrews University

September 2020  |  Andrews University has upgraded our Adobe Creative Cloud license to Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise.
This allows current employess and students to sign-in to Adobe Creative Cloud apps using their Andrews University email address and password.  This is also known as "single sign-on" (SSO).
Regarding students & single sign-on:
At this time, students may use their Andrews University account for single sign-on but only in designated computer labs that have Adobe Creative Cloud installed.  Students may also purchase a personal license of Adobe Creative Cloud at educational prices from:  andrews.onthehub.com.  Single sign-on may also be used on these licenses.

Licensed users may sign-in at:  creativecloud.adobe.com

  1. At the Adobe login prompt, simply enter your Andrews email address and password, then select Company or School Account, if prompted.
  2. Download and install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app
  3. Using the desktop app, download and install the Adobe Creative Cloud app of your choice

Please note that users are still subject to entitlements outlined by the license agreement between Andrews University and Adobe.

Acrobat Pro  |  Information About Serialized, Stand-alone Installations (for employees only)
If you currently use a serialized, stand-alone license of Acrobat Pro, you may continue to use it as long as it meets your productivity needs.  However, the current upgrade path is to move to the subscription license of Adobe Creative Cloud.  Adobe no longer supports the older versions and no longer releases security updates for them. These include Acrobat Pro versions DC 2015, XI, X, 9 and older.
As a result any new requests for installation or reinstallation of Acrobat Pro will be issued the Adobe Creative Cloud - All Apps subscription license.  These are two separate licensing models therefore the Creative Cloud cost is different from the old serialized cost as described below in Andrews University's Software Licensing Agreement with Adobe Creative Cloud.

Andrews University's Software Licensing Agreement with Adobe Creative Cloud:

Applies to Andrews University employees only.

  1. Named license (all apps)    $180/person/yr:
This licensing method is Adobe's recommended licensing method to use Adobe Creative Cloud and Document Cloud products. Designed for the network-connected scenario where app licenses are managed based on individual user need for use of the app. Users are provided with the full functionality of the software and services giving them access to all the available apps and services based on entitlements established by the University.

Named User Licensing ties the usage of Adobe apps and services to an individual user and requires periodic Internet connectivity. Computers must connect to Adobe servers for initial activation, and then at least once every 99 days. End users may use their named licenses on mobile devices as Creative Cloud apps are available for use.

Sign-in at creativecloud.adobe.com with your Andrews email address and password to access Adobe Creative Cloud apps and services.

  2. Shared Device license (all apps)    $207/device/yr:
This licensing method is targeted at educational institutions where software is assigned to a device instead of an individual.  This should only apply to computer labs, shared student or employee workstations or in classrooms where there is a shared computer.
