What's New in 2020-2021 for Adobe Creative Cloud @ Andrews University?

September 2020 - Andrews University has upgraded our Adobe Creative Cloud license to Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise.
This will allow employees and students to use their Andrews University account to sign-in to Adobe Creative Cloud apps and services using single sign-on.  At the Adobe's login prompt, simply enter our Andrews email address and password, then select Company or School Account.  NOTE:  Users are still subject to entitlements outlined by the license agreement between Andrews University and Adobe.

If you have project files (also known as 'assets') stored in Adobe's cloud storage, you will need to transfer them to your new federated Andrews Adobe account.
Visit Adobe's help page on Manual Asset Transfer.

Acrobat Pro DC installations will be upgraded to the Adobe Creative Cloud Named (all apps) license.
Regardless of whether you use one app or the entire suite, users can now take advantage of the full collection of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you currently use a single app license with Acrobat Pro DC, the license will upgrade automatically.

  1. Named license (all apps)    $180/person/yr:
Named user licensing is Adobe's recommended licensing method to use Adobe Creative Cloud and Document Cloud products. Designed for the network-connected scenario where app licenses are managed based on individual user need for use of the app. Users are provided with the full functionality of the software and services giving them access to all the available apps and services based on entitlements established by the University.

Named User Licensing ties the usage of Adobe apps and services to an individual user and requires periodic Internet connectivity. Computers must connect to Adobe servers for initial activation, and then at least once every 99 days. End users may use their named licenses on mobile devices as Creative Cloud apps are available for use.

  3. Single Named license - Acrobat Pro only [DEPRECATED]:
As of FY 2020-2021, this licensing option is no longer available for new installations.  Existing Acrobat Pro DC installations will be upgraded to the Adobe Creative Cloud Named (all apps) license.
