You are invited to attend a free lecture by Randall Younker and Constance Gane as part of the Siegfried H. Horn Lectureship Series. Co-curricular credit is available for undergraduate students! This PowerPoint illustrated lecture, entitled "Tall Jalul: A Most Amazing Season," will report on the great finds from the 2009 season at Jalul, Jordan. Over 150 objects (figurines, arrowheads, seals, inscriptions) were found, as well as the city wall, houses, a huge pottery hoard and a sophisticated water system that may point to the city's ancient identity; possibly Biblical Heshbon.
