"The Power of Forgiveness" Screening

Film producer Martin Doblmeier of Journey Films will visit Andrews University the weekend of April 9-11 for screenings of two of his recent films, The Power of Forgiveness and The Adventists.

On Friday, April 9 at 7 p.m., join Doblmeier in the PMC Youth Chapel for a viewing of The Power of Forgiveness. This film feature stories on the Amish, the 9/11 tragedy and peace-building in Northern Ireland, along with interviews with renowned Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hanh, Nobel Peace Laureate Elie Wiesel, best-selling authors Thomas Moore and Marianne Williamson, and others. It explores the role forgiveness holds in various faith traditions and examines how the scientific community is now measuring the physical and mental benefits of letting go of grief and resentment. Doblmeier will take part in a Q&A following the film. This event is free and open to the public. Co-curricular credit is offered for students.
