Platt is the author of four collections of poetry, including "Dirt Angels" (2009, New Issues), described by Eavan Boland as "superb, wrenching reading," and "My Father Says Grace" (2007, U of Arkansas Press). Platt is a professor of English at Purdue University.

Roeser is the winner of the 2008 Morse Poetry Prize for her book In the Truth Room, which Tony Hoagland calls "a wonderful book by a fully developed and original poet," and the winner of the 2004 Morse Poetry Prize for "Beautiful Motion."
