Constance M. Cherry, DMin, is Professor Emeritus of Worship and Pastoral Ministry at Indiana Wesleyan University where she taught from 2004-2020. She is also a founding faculty member of the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies where she continues to teach in the Doctor of Worship Studies program since 2000. She is an ordained pastor in the Global Methodist Church. Constance has more than four decades of experience in full-time local church ministry as both director of music and worship, and pastor. Her seminal book, The Worship Architect: A Blueprint for Designing Culturally Relevant and Biblically Faithful Services (now in its second edition) has been used as a required text in more than 160 universities and seminaries worldwide among more than thirty denominations and is published in five languages. Constance travels widely to speak, teach and write on matters of worship. A native of Michigan, she lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she enjoys biking, gardening, and entertaining.
