We regret the disruption of full library services. However, the following are available to you:

BOOK CHECKOUTS

All requests for physical books and copying of materials should be sent to circulation@andrews.edu, or by phone (269-471-3158) during the day. We will send via postal mail or email.

EBOOKS

Over 500,000 titles are available in various databases. They can be accessed @ E-books, @ Databases A-Z or by searching our catalog using a search box on the James White Library website. Note that only a proportion of the available e-book titles are in our catalog, and many titles in the catalog are not available as e-books.

DATABASES

More than 200 databases provide access to digitalized articles, e-books, videos, and more. Students and faculty have full access to all those resources by using their AU credentials.

ARTICLES

There are three main avenues for accessing digitized articles: 1. Searching Online Journals, Books and more - (Periodicals A-Z). 2. Searching databases with articles @Databases A-Z. 3. Searching our catalog using search box below and clicking on the Articles tab after initial search.

DOCUMENT DELIVERY

CIRCULATION service is still active. We will deliver journal articles, chapters from books and course reserves, and books from the AU Libraries collection directly to you at no charge. Items will be delivered via email or postal mail.

INTER-LIBRARY LOANS

We will continue to process interlibrary loan requests for books. However, we must rely on other libraries to supply the item, and those libraries may not be operational. No MeLCat service at this time.

RESEARCH ASSISTANCE/ASK US

Librarians are available on chat from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday to Thursday and from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday. You may also contact us by using Ask the Librarian widget, or complete a request form.
