Featuring ACS Director-at-Large
Thu, March 8, 2012 @ 04:30 pm - 11:59 pm
4:30 p.m., Halenz Hall Amphitheater
The 8th seminar speaker for the Andrews University Spring 2012 Chemistry & BIochemistry Seminar Series is Dr. Kathleen Schulz, Director-at-Large, on the Board of Directors for the American Chemical Society. Everyone is invited to take full advantage of this rare honor by attending the seminar on March 8 at 4:30 p.m. in the Halenz Hall Amphitheater.
Dr. Schulz's topic, "Entrepreneurship, ACS & You," is very important and relevant to our current national discussion on jobs, innovation and American global competitiveness. It is based on the 2010 report by the American Chemical Society's Presidential Task Force on Innovation in the Chemical Enterprise. To view a YouTube link in which the Task Force Report was discussed by ACS 2010 President Joseph Francisco, visit here.
Dr. Schulz's presentation will be given from Albuquerque, New Mexico and will be live streamed online at http://andrews.adobeconnect.com/chemsem/.
