"The Use of Japanese Lesson Study to Improve Education"

There will be an AICER Faculty Research Symposium on Tuesday, March 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 013 of Bell Hall. Lee Davidson and Marian Prince will present "The Use of Japanese Lesson Study to Improve Education." Japanese Lesson Study is a method of professional development that originated in Japan. Efforts have been made to bring the model to the U.S. with some success. This session will describe the process as experienced by the presenters. Emphasis will be given to the aspects that can be adapted to improve the planning and teaching process.
