CONSIDER

Application requirements: You must submit two applications—one for the second master’s program and one for MSCID. After submitting the first application and paying the fee, email Graduate Enrollment Management at graduate@andrews.edu to receive a fee-waiver code for the second application.

Visa and enrollment status (international students): Dual enrollment can affect full-time status and immigration requirements. International students are strongly encouraged to enroll in both programs from the start to ensure sufficient time to complete all degree requirements within visa limits.

Advising coordination: Students often work with multiple advisors, requiring proactive communication. Applicants are encouraged to contact the program directors of each program directly to discuss program requirements, courses, expectations, and fit.

Financial planning: Tuition, fees, and financial aid eligibility may differ between programs. Communicate your intentions with your financial advisor early on in the application process.

Course sequencing: Some courses must be taken in a specific order and can affect scheduling across both programs. Work closely with your academic advisors to develop a clear plan and communicate your intentions for each program early.

Internship and practicum requirements: Fieldwork requirements may overlap between programs. Discuss internship placement early with both program directors to align expectations and support timely completion.
