Requirements

All Students

  • 2.50 GPA minimum 
  • Additional requirements may vary per student. Please visit Undergraduate Enrollment to learn what applies to you.

Affiliate Students

  • Must complete ALL of their degree required coursework from their home college/university prior to the start of the MLS clinical year.
  • Are eligible for 9-12 free credits as part of the affiliation agreement.
  • Guest students receive ther 1st degree from their home school and the MLS Certificate from Andrews Univeristy.

 

How to Apply

Application Deadlines

  • January 31st of the year you plan to begin the MLS Clinical Year program with rolling admissions until June 1st.
  • An independant admissions process is required for all students who wish to enter MLS clinical studies.

What to Expect

All Students

  • The degree program includes three years of undergraduate (pre-clinicals) studies plus one year (3 semesters) of clinical education.
  • Students who complete the MLS Program are eligible to write the national Board of Certification sponsored by the ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology).

Affiliate Guest Students

  • Must complete their first 3 years of preclinical studies at their respective schools and 14 months at Andrews University. This includes a summer semester (2 months) of preclinical coursework, followed by a 3-semester clinical year.
  • Upon completion students receive MLS Certification and are eligible to write the national Board of Certification sponsored by the ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology).
