Master of Healthcare Administration - MHA

The MHA program prepares healthcare professionals to fulfill the demands of the ever-changing healthcare system and to become managers, administrators, and leaders in various private and government healthcare settings who are devoted to improving health services delivery in the United States and throughout the world.

PROGRAM LENGTH

This program can be completed in 2 years or less with a maximum limit of 6 years for part-time students. It includes 40 semester credits, plus 2–5 credits of practicum

APPLICATION DEADLINES

The MHA program only admits new students for Fall Semester. Prospective students must complete the application and submit all the requirements before August 1.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree (or non-U.S. equivalent) and satisfy one of the following
    • Have an overall GPA of at least 2.60 in undergraduate courses.
    • Have a GPA of at least 2.75 on the last 50% of undergraduate courses.
    • Have a graduate GPA of at least 3.00 on 8-semester credits or more earned in courses graded A–F.
    • Hold a previous master’s degree
  • Professional resume
  • Two letters of recommendation from professionals such as advisors, major professors and employers
  • Statement of purpose
  • Minimum TOEFL score of 80 or 6.5 on the IELTS English Proficiency if language of education was not English
