Improving Student Success for Physiology and Neurobiology Students at the University of Connecticut

The Department of Physiology and Neurobiology (PNB) at the University of Connecticut has asked us to collaborate with them in attempting to implement “doable” components of our very successful student success program in the biology department.  This has led to a 2 year joint program, happening in both the AU biology department and UConn PNB.  It is leading toward a joint collaborative grant proposal between the two departments that will be written and submitted to the National Science Foundation (NSF) STEP grant program during the summer of 2011 that could result in a new STEP grant of up to $2 million.
