The influence of religiosity, religious involvement, spiritual maturity, adherence to Adventist core beliefs, and Adventist education on denominational loyalty among youths and young adults in Sabah mission of Seventh-day Adventists

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Adventist education, religiosity, religious involvement, adherence to Adventist core beliefs, and spiritual maturity on the denominational loyalty of youths and young adults in the Seventh-day Adventist Mission of Sabah, Malaysia.  In recent years, a noticeable number of youths and young adults have left the church.  The Sabah Mission Leadership is keenly interested in knowing the factors that may influence denominational loyalty so that they can develop short and long term strategies to enhance holding power, especially among the youths and young adults.  Survey research methodology in which a questionnaire will be developed and administered to a sample of the target population of 15-25 year-olds will be used in this study. Data analysis will involve the use of descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling.
