Perceived Faculty Barriers for the Use Active Learning Methods for Planning, Delivery, and Assessment of Learning.

There has been a growing awareness in higher education of the importance of using active learning methods in the classroom yet there is a gap between faculty and students’ beliefs about the effectiveness of these methods for learning. This study seeks to bridge this divide by documenting the effectiveness of active learning methods in selected classrooms across the United States.
