Investigation of Church Involvement in Enditnow Abuse Prevention Sabbath.
Launched in 2009, Enditnow originally was a global initiative to advocate for the end of violence around the world. As part of that movement Enditnow North America has held annual Summits on Abuse to provide information, strategies, and testimonials to help deal with abuse and has offered resources for churches to participate in the designated Abuse Prevention Sabbath each August. This research study seeks to understand to what extent churches are using these resources across the NAD. Specifically we propose to examine a randomized sample of 500 churches in the NAD for evidence of honoring Abuse Prevention Sabbath.
