Procedural and Interactional Justice as Antecedents of Organizational Commitment: The Moderating Role of Job/Non-Work Conflict Among Higher Education Institutions.
This study investigates the relationships among employees’ perceptions of organizational justice, their experience of conflict between work and non-work domains, and their organizational commitment. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) and multivariate analysis, this paper examines how procedural and interactional justice (PIJS) influence organizational commitment (OCS) and job-non-work conflict (JNWCQ). It also explores the mediating role of organizational commitment in the relationship between organizational justice and job-non-work conflict. The study contributes to the literature by simultaneously examining these three critical constructs within a comprehensive structural model, offering a nuanced understanding of their interplay. Results of the study would add to the important discussion of work-life balance.
