The Entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program combines academics and fieldwork experiences to develop highly skilled healthcare practitioners, enabling them to assist clients in achieving health, well-being, and participation in life through engagement in occupation across the lifespan, i.e., from infants to older adults.
The OTD curriculum combines graduate OT education and hands-on training with additional coursework focused on occupation and evidence-based practice, leadership, advocacy, and policymaking. Andrews University OTD program is unique in that Christian values are embedded in our curriculum and embodied in our faculty and staff. Our core values are “Family Spirit, Servant Heart, Inquisitive Mind” and we are committed to help you integrate science and the love of God into a service-oriented profession providing healing to society.
